Teachers of the visually impaired assess your child's vision and determine the most appropriate treatment to reach their maximum potential in all areas of development. Vision teachers utilize a variety of different treatment approaches to address your child's orientation and mobility, visual tracking skills, awareness of their surroundings, and overall ability to interact effectively and safely in their environment. The vision teachers have an extensive knowledge of the local and national resources available for those with vision impairments. They also utilize a variety of equipment to promote improved vision skills for your child.
