Our Therapists

Pediatric Therapy Professionals (PTP) selects only the highest quality of therapists to provide Early Intervention services. All of our Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists have their Master or Doctorate Degrees in their fields. Our Developmentalists have Bachelor or Master Degrees in Early Childhood or Special Education. PTP values the importance of training and continuing education and all PTP therapists are required to obtain at least 24 hours of continuing education per year. Our therapists have pediatric experience and extensive training in a variety of areas including sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment technique, feeding and swallowing, and many other specialized pediatric treatment approaches. All of our therapists must have adult, infant, and child CPR and First Aid certification as well as Pennsylvania Criminal Record Checks, Child Abuse Clearances, and FBI Fingerprints in order to be able to work for PTP. PTP has a large network of pediatric therapists across Western Pennsylvania and assigns skilled therapists who are local to your family. All of our therapists schedule services on days and times that are convenient for your family.

PTP therapists understand that all children and families are different and have unique needs. Our therapists are respectful and compassionate. They utilize a home-based coaching approach where there is a big focus on teaching parents and caregivers skills and activities that can be carried over throughout the week during daily routines to help their children. PTP therapists recognize that parents and caregivers know their children better than anyone and are dedicated to making parents and caregivers an integral part of treatment sessions. Please view our Family Testimonials for feedback from clients' families well as the list of diagnosis that we have experience in addressing. We are confident that our caring and professional approach to therapy provision will be an asset to your family.
