Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. - Our Mission

Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. recognizes that early intervention services involve the family and caregivers of children, as well as the children themselves. All of our services will be provided with a family-centered approach and with an emphasis on family involvement. We believe that continuous communication with the families and fellow therapists/teachers is necessary for a successful program. We are committed to educating families through various means including books, handouts, videos, and local resources. We will utilize feedback from the family to create appropriate treatments for each child. We understand that each family has different needs and we will strive to create treatment programs that address these needs. We will provide services for each family at their convenience.

The services will be in accordance with each family's values and priorities. We understand the importance of creating treatment plans that will focus on improving functional performance of the children while keeping in mind their caregivers' functional goals. Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. will provide services throughout all areas of Western Pennsylvania without regard to race, socio-economic status, or religious preference.

About Gina Bautti, President of PTP

Pediatric Therapy Professionals, Inc. (PTP) is an agency that I created in 2001 to address the Early Intervention needs of families in Western Pennsylvania. I graduated from Duquesne University with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 1996. I began my career in pediatric therapy and Early Intervention in Brooklyn, NY where I had the wonderful opportunity to provide services in multiple public and private schools as well as with multiple Early Intervention agencies. I knew that pediatric therapy was my passion, and I wanted to bring my knowledge and expertise to my hometown in order to be closer to my family and to make a difference in my community.

When I started PTP, I was the only therapist and we provided services in only one county. I always made sure that my main focus was doing what was best for my clients and their families and focusing on providing the highest possible quality of care. Over the years we have grown tremendously and we now have over 80 therapists working in 8 counties in Western Pennsylvania. I take great pride in what I do and in our agency's reputation. I interview every potential therapist in person to make sure that I select only the top therapists to represent PTP in the field. I have been blessed to have the opportunity to work with an amazing group of therapists who possess the same enthusiasm, work ethic, and professionalism as myself. Most importantly, we have never lost sight of the fact that our biggest responsibility is to provide the highest quality of care for our families.

I am married and have four young children of my own. Being a mother has given me a whole new appreciation of the challenges that some of our families face. I welcome the opportunity for my agency to be able to assist and support families along their journeys with their children. It is a responsibility and honor that I hold in the highest regard.
